Continuing our series in 2 Corinthians, today Jonathan and Rachel jointly presented to us the importance of repentance in cultivating within God’s people the fragrance of Christ. Just as the altar and the sacred vessels of the Temple needed to be purified by the blood of sacrifice on the Day of Atonement, so we, as sacred vessels of the Holy Spirit dedicated to God, also need the regular purification of repentance to maintain our relationship with God.
