Saffron Walden Community Church
Entrance to our main hall is via level access from the street, and there is a disabled toilet directly adjacent to our vestibule area. The rear lounge also has step-free access from the main hall, which is equipped with a hearing loop.
We normally meet on Sunday mornings at 10.30am at Saffron Walden Community Church in Castle Street.
At our morning services there are usually a good number of children present. We do hold occasional all-age services, but normally we run several children’s groups for the latter part of the service. These currently cater for children up to the age of 15, after they have shared in the first part of the service. Whatever their age children are an important part of our church family. The youngest of them (up to the age they start school) are welcome in our creche which runs throughout the service in a separate room. If babies are too young to be left, parents are welcome to keep them with them in the service. There is also a separate room off the entrance lobby to the church, equipped with video and audio from the main service, to which parents may take their babies for a little time out.
Do check our Service Calendar, because sometimes we share services with other congregations and these may be at other locations. The nearest parking for visitors is at Catons Lane or the Common car park.
We also meet here for our evening services at 6.30pm.
During the week, we hold a range of adult group meetings for prayer, bible study and mutual encouragement. We also share our youth work with the New Life (Assemblies of God) church in Saffron Walden. The times and locations of these meetings are subject to change, so if you would like to visit any of these activities, do Contact Us To see a list of what else is on offer, please take a look at our What’s On page.
